By providing information recorded on all kinds of information carriers, the library promotes knowledge about global and social developments and, by extension, the participation of the population in culture, education and contacts within social and economic life and also promotes personal development. Our field of activity is quite broad.
The promotion of reading is a key objective of the library policy. Book presentations, exhibitions, literary events and a children's book festival are the key elements of the annual program. Biblioteca Nacional Aruba organizes these activities that are accessible to everyone with enthusiasm and commitment each year, and they give an indispensable extra dimension to the cultural, educational and social life in Aruba.
