Stichting ''CASMARIE''

CasMarie contributes to the quality of life of people with dementia and their families. Dementia is a progressive and, in the end, terminal brain disease. There is still no cure for dementia. To improve the quality of life of our clients, CasMarie provides different types of services. We provide services to the person with dementia, and we provide services to the family or his/her caregivers.

Services for family/unofficial caregivers of clients of CasMarie
* Support and information groups under the guidance of the psychologist. The purpose of this service is to strengthen the families and to accomplish together that the care at home can be continued as long as possible.
* Support, information and individual guidance.

Purpose of the organization

CasMarie Day Center
We offer a varied program to all people with dementia, stimulating the mind in different ways within a pleasant atmosphere to help them preserving their abilities as long as possible.

CasMarie Memory Group
We provide support in different ways to improve the memory of the clients, so that they encounter less difficulties hindering them to function as they wish in their daily lives.

Services/Activities

CasMarie Day Center Activities
The activities program varies. All activities take place under the guidance of educated staff with experience in working with clients with dementia. A lunch is offered at noon.

CasMarie Memory Group Activities
A combination of activities to support and activate the cognitive function and recreational/sports activities.
