CFCA is responsible for recruiting foster families, preparing and providing training to foster families (by providing information, conducting intake interviews, home visits, offering the step course, which prepares families for fostering a foster child, and a screening by the judicial authorities. CFCA also registers the families and matches the foster child with the foster family.
Another important task is to guide and support a foster family.

Purpose of the organization

The object of CFCA is to coordinate the foster family policy to guarantee the quality of the guidance to foster families and to ensure that a foster family is well prepared for its duties.
Another object is to provide all agencies in Aruba with the foster families necessary.
