Scol Primario Kudawecha

Scol Primario Kudawecha is a public elementary school in Noord. The school owes its name to its location, namely in the district Kudawecha in Noord. Scol Primario Kudawecha falls under the Department of Public Schools Aruba (DPS).

Our school is a relatively new school, consisting of twelve grades for elementary education, and it will also have a kindergarten in the future. The school opened its doors in the school year 2008-2009.

Scol Primario Kudawecha has an enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff, who helped establishing the school. The number of pupils has increased rapidly since the establishment, and the school currently has 330 pupils.

Purpose of the organization

Scol Primario Kudawecha is open to all pupils who need elementary education.

Services/Activities

At Scol Primario Kudawecha, we seek to offer the pupil real opportunities for his/her overall development within a pleasant and safe learning environment. Our aim is that they grow into independently thinking and self-confident people. They will certainly need this to make conscious choices in this globalizing world, which offers more and more choices, and where boundaries are increasingly blurring or changing. Furthermore, the physical well-being of the pupils is very important to us. Therefore, the school has decided to be part of the group of pilot schools for "Scol Saludabel" (Healthy school) and stimulates the pupils to eat healthy and to participate in sports, as two important aspects of their development.
