MOBIS aims to promote sustainable welfare development by promoting and supporting a comprehensive community approach within the Aruban society.
It endeavors to achieve this objective by:
- Encouraging, initiating and supporting community programs for the vulnerable target groups in the neighborhoods. The development of (repeating) activities.
- Advising and supporting the management of the community centers (strengthening expertise).
- Providing practical support to the management of the community centers and/or community committees (practical support).
- Encouraging and promoting good communication and coordination between the organizations in the community, with national organizations and professional institutions (activation network).

Purpose of the organization

The aim of MOBIS is to empower the skills of the board. Secondly to offer practical support in and to develop (repeating) activities in the community centers and community committees. MOBIS also want to connect the community centers with the corporate institutions.

Services/Activities

Services: assisting in the preparation of annual programs and annual budgets for the community centers.
Supporting the development and organization of (repeating) activities; activities, such as: Bario Chef, Bario Bibo and Bario Team, developed for the community centers.
