In 2015, the project "Kibra Barera" became a reality. Mr. Daniel Tecklenborg, director of Cede Aruba, together with the foundations FEPO, FAVI, SVGA, FUNARI, Sonrisa and Trampolin pa Trabao, as well as Medwork, the Directorate of Social Affairs and the Directorate of Public Health managed to receive funding for a job coach through Samenwerkende Nederlandse Fondsen for the next 2 years.

Persons with disabilities from the age of 16, who sit at home and have enough potential to be able to work, but cannot enter the regular labor market because of their disability. Since Trampolin pa Trabao and other foundations have been engaged in the project Kibra Barera, it has changed its target group, in the constitution, from "Mentally Impaired Persons" to "Persons with Disabilities", so that the clients of the other foundations can also participate in training at or receive guidance from Trampolin pa Trabao.

Trampolin pa Trabao wants to contribute to a better living environment, understanding and respect for others, regardless of their disabilities. By working at Trampolin pa Trabao, persons with disabilities gain work experience and develop their social and cognitive skills.
The most important is that everyone has a lot of fun and is able to discover his/her own worth and talents.

Purpose of the organization

Integration and participation of our target group in the labor market of our society, just like all other citizens of Aruba, with the same rights and opportunities.

Services/Activities

Phase 1: Creative Group: This group consists of about 7 clients who make different products, such as candy bouquets, center pieces for parties, decorations, etc.
This is done under the guidance of a volunteer and/or intern.
All products made are sold. It is intended that the clients of this group move on to another group.

Phase 2: Catering, Cafeteria, Horticulture
Clients learn everything about the work, so that they can move on to our temporary employment agency later on and can be assigned in society to a kitchen or a garden at a hotel, restaurant, hospital, bakery, etc.
