Turtugaruba is the Aruban foundation for Sea Turtle Conservation.
The core activities are :
Monitoring of nesting activity and data collection
Protection of nesting habitat and nest sites during nesting season
Reducing threats for sea turtles
Raising awareness among the general public (adults, children , locals and tourists)
Research activities





Purpose of the organization

The object of the foundation is to protect sea turtles and their habitat in general and in the Caribbean and in and around Aruba in particular.

Application procedure:
Volunteers are recruited yearly (March ) Applicants must send contact information to turtugaruba@hotmail.com and visit the volunteer instruction meeting

Contribution dues:
Free, volunteers are expected to take care of their own expenses for communication (mobile phone) and transportation.

Additional remarks:
Volunteers must be able to walk for hours on the beach and during odd hours.

Volunteers must be able to explain basic sea turtle biology to onlookers
