"Fundacion Respeta Mi" works on the primary prevention (general public) and the secondary prevention (vulnerable groups) of different forms of child abuse and trauma.

Purpose of the organization

"Fundacion Respeta Mi" aims to make the Aruban community more aware of the different forms of child abuse and trauma by giving them specific information of the topic and tools to recognise child abuse and trauma.

Services/Activities

"Fundacion Respeta Mi" offers a variety of materials such as literature, booklets, leaflets, flyers, posters and audiovisual material in Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento on child abuse and trauma.

"Fundacion Respeta Mi" also offers lectures, workshops and study days on child abuse, trauma and other related topics.

"Fundacion Respeta Mi " also helps professional counselors in the social, educational, legal and medical field, with the promotion of their expertise, in the area of child abuse and trauma.
