The Fort Zoutman together with the Willem III Tower, which are the oldest buildings of Aruba, have housed the Museo Historico Arubano (MHA) for years. These buildings that became protected monuments in 2011 are our greatest witnesses of the rich history and prosperity of Aruba’s capital, Oranjestad. We are part of Fundacion Museo Arubano.

Purpose of the organization

Our main objective is to preserve our cultural heritage and transfer this knowledge both to the local audience and to tourists alike.

Services/Activities

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. It is also possible to rent MHA for your private events.
Do not forget about our weekly Bon Bini Festival which is held every Tuesday night from 7pm-8:30pm.
